The Ministry of Education says it will go ahead with the implementation of the comprehensive sexuality education in the school curriculum.

Ministry of Education Permanent Secretary, JOEL KAMOKO says matters of adolescent life and sexuality contribute to either quality results, retention of girls in school and Girls falling out.

In an interview with ZANIS, Mr. KAMOKO revealed that after an intensive review of the content in comprehensive sexuality education subject, the ministry is satisfied that the curriculum has sufficient safeguards and recognises Zambian values.

He noted that it is the  subject that will determine if a child wants to complete education or not, especially for a girl child who is usually under pressure.
