Mr. Mwanza says the Council is duty bound to provide a conducive working environment for the traders in the city.
He has therefore implored all the vendors that left various markets and designated trading points to go back so that the Local Authority can have a proper projection of the space required for the other traders.
Meanwhile, the civic leader has said that the Chipata City Council has plans to erect modern and spacious markets for the traders.
